Google+ circles aren't unique, but...
Facebook, Twitter, and Google+ all have methods for grouping users in lists. Facebook and Google+ both have ways to post only to specific lists. But Google+ is the only one that shoves them right in your face.

Basement update: painted the ceiling, baseboard, and casing. Next: painting the walls, installing the floor.
Normally I like the futuristic concept stuff, but while watching the demo of Adaptive Path’s Aurora, I wanted to gouge my eyes out.
Catherine asked for a peach, then crushed it to a pulp. Realized later that she just asked for *a* peach. Not for eating, per se. Semantics.
Great to see everyone at the Math/CompSci cookout today. Had a good turnout and good time despite the rain!
Looking forward to the Math/CompSci cookout this afternoon, and hoping it doesn’t rain (too much).
Tonight, a rare dinner out with (only) Rebecca, and a trip to Home Depot. Tomorrow, hosting a party for Gordon Math/CS alumni at our place.

Happy to report that the house (and, more specifically, the basement) are dry after the downpours of the past few days.
Put in a good evening of work in the basement tonight with Ken. Laid the last of the DriCore, repaired water damage, cleaned things up.
Can’t believe the weatherman is still reading notes from a piece of paper. I mean, really?
Just got word that Mark and Kirsten have arrived safely at their final destination and are going to get some sleep. Hooray!
